Why Sunflower and the sun

Dear My Diary,

sebenernya aku bingung banget mau ngasih nama blog ini apaan. Tapi setelah diputuskan dengan cemerlang, akhirnya aku kasi nama sunflowerandthesun.

You know why?

Becoz,
actually our name are having those words. Somewhere in my name, suryakusuma : sunflower, bunga matahari, himawari (adiknya shin-chan kalee)

And his name, Surya, means the Sun, matahari, taiyou. Not only literally, but he also has the energy of the sun. Energy Never Dies!!! (kecuali kalo habis makan kekenyangan..hehe)

So, that`s why i named this blog sunflowerandthesun.

And there is another meaning...
Sunflowers in the bud stage exhibit heliotropism. At sunrise, the faces of most sunflowers are turned towards the east. Over the course of the day, they follow the sun from east to west, while at night they return to an eastward orientation. This motion is performed by motor cells in the pulvinus, a flexible segment of the stem just below the bud. As the bud stage ends, the stem stiffens and the blooming stage is reached. Mungkin semua sudah tau kalau bunga matahari itu kembangnya ngikutin matahari. Dan begitu pula dengan aku. Entah kenapa, tanpa sadar, aku hidup mengikuti dia. Walaupun jarak dan waktu kami terpisah jauh bagaikan bunga dan matahari, tapi aku selalu berpikir, bergerak, dan berbicara dengan dia sebagai center pointnya.

Kesannya egois?
Justru sama sekali ngga. Dengan berbicara dengan dia, aku ngerasa wawasan jadi tambah luas, dan kecintaanku terhadap keluarga jadi bertambah.

Thanks GOD I have him by my side, even though our distance is unbearable.
